“Metal” is a little misleading. This is hard rock, and it’s French hard rock — French hard rock from the 70’s. We call that the groove trifecta. “Tetes Lourdes” is a compilation of French rock 45rpm singles released between the years 1970-1972. There’s the wailing, near-punk “Fightin’ Cock” and the noise rock plea “Hard Times, Good Times” that pierces the heavy with some very Parisian horn play.
