Plot:

Between his tax problems and his legal battle with his wife for the custody of his daughter, these are hard times for former federal currency numerologist Craig Tree. An extinct $8 dollar bill with a bank note serial number currently off the grid of every financial institution in America is his white whale. His obsession with its whereabouts and conviction that if found the bill’s serial number could pinpoint the location of a time-traveling ex-President bent on revenge against the United States has led to his firing from P.I.R.S.E., the Paranormal Internal Revenue Service Elite. But when Craig is offered a chance to retrieve the $8 dollar bill and also win custody of his eleven year old daughter away from his bitter ex-wife, a boozing soul singer, he has no misgivings about accepting an assignment from a mysterious pantaloons wearing former Algerian general who knows the location of the $8 dollar bill. Craig is handed a team of professional thieves and plane tickets to Argentina. There are three simple demands: break into Espíritu Bank de Internacional, recover the $8 dollar bill along with the contents of safe depost box 666, and do not – under no circumstance – open that box.
